Tissue & Me

For those who suffer with allergy and sinus issues and cannot enjoy simple things in life.

Miracle of Life

This blog is a little different from the rest, but I felt led to share this. I woke up very tired today. Apparently, the rain didn’t lull me to sleep as it usually does. While getting ready for my daily activities, I asked the Lord for a miracle. Let’s be honest. When we ask for miracles, most of us expect a big windfall of money, a house or a car, or a great healing within ourselves or for someone we know. But today, I got the miracle of life. On my way to work, the vehicle in front of me abruptly slammed on its brakes and drove into the ditch. After my brain processed what was happening, I saw a car driving in our lane going around a semi-truck. We were a few feet from a head-on collision. At the rate of speed that the car was going, I would have gotten hit as well. My stomach immediately twisted and turned and my heart began to race. As the driver in front of me swerved out of the way and I slammed on brakes, I immediately said, “Thank you God!” and it was that moment when it was brought to my remembrance that I asked for a miracle today. It’s amazing because the prayer and answer all happened within an hour. We must realize that there are more miracles in life than being very wealthy and having expensive houses and cars. I hope that this blesses someone and that your eyes are open to the many miracles that happen around us every day that we don’t acknowledge. I believe in miracles just like the ones that Kellie Agueze and Warrior Nation was built upon! (I receive NO commission from Dr. Agueze nor her ministries).

Car safety is a must!

In a previous accident, my stomach and lap was cut from the seatbelt. Afterwards, I invested in seat belt covers. I have fuzzy black ones that are sooo soft.

Don’t be like me and just shove your documents into a compartment. A registration and insurance holder will make it easier and quicker to provide to law enforcement and insurance officials.

My dad then put a first-aid kit in the car. It’s a little too late, dad lol. J/K. He now makes sure that I have one in every new car that I get if one isn’t included.

A phone holder. No explanation needed.

Flares and an emergency tool can be useful for all who are involved in a fender bender.

About Me

I’m an outsider that likes to peek on the inside. I am an extreme introvert, but will become an extrovert for the right people. I avoid social situations, not because of the extreme introvertism, but because people make me sick–literally. With this unfortunate condition, that’s why there’s my tissue and me. Literally.
