If you read the previous blog, you know about the adventure of finding the perfect cologne for my husband. Yes, he still smells good! While looking for cologne for him and some other things (because this happened to be Valentine’s Day), I became jealous and wanted something for myself. After I made the selection for him, I went into the shopping center to shop. While perusing the mobile Valentine boutiques, hoping that I am camouflaged between them because I had no time for small talk with acquaintances, for this was my lunch break, I turned around and was met face to face with my husband! Thankfully, we know each other’s schedule or both of us would have had some explaining to do lol. After our meet and greet and hug and kiss, I return to the store to choose a fragrance for my own use.
So I shook those coffee beans and had a burst of nasal courage to walk to the women’s fragrance counter. I was ready to lash out at the first associate who placed a scented sample card under my nose without my permission. Don’t you hate that? There should be better training on that. They don’t know whose allergies or asthma attacks will triggered. Anyhoo… back on topic… As I approached the counter, the female associate was leaning on the counter with a sly smile as if she knew I was coming. Since I chose Coach Blue for my husband, I approached the Coach selection for women. There were three different scents that I had a hard time choosing amongst because they smelled so good and did not make me sneeze! I’d shake and sniff. Shake and sniff. Shake and sniff. I finally chose Coach Dreams Sunset. It comes in the prettiest glittered box and beautiful glass bottle. The scent lasts for hours. I am in total disbelief because I have really purchased “real” perfume! My regular purchases are usually from The Lady With a Secret or Bath and Body Works because most of their scents are not heavy and wear off quickly. I’m excited because now I can be fragrance twins with my husband!
